Power. Beauty. Grace. The Lipizzaner horses return to dazzle the Mother City with their balletic performances.
The equestrian equivalent of the famous Russian Ballet is the Spanish Riding School of Vienna and their stunning Lipizzaner horses. They're strong, beautiful and awe-inspiring to watch.
Originally bred in Austria, South Africa has the only Lipizzaners outside Europe and will be performing in Cape Town this November at GrandWest’s Grand Arena. These horses are
characterised by a perfect and noble physique, graceful movements, the ability to learn, liveliness, good nature, courage, toughness and stamina. In appearance they resemble in every respect the typical baroque show and parade horses. They descend from an ancient breed of horse and are able to perform challenging dressage movements including the agile “airs above the ground” which are stylized jumps and movements. Simply a must for kids who love horses and any equine enthusiast!
