Gochas Accommodation

We offer self-catering and bed and breakfast accommodation as well as a farm stall with a coffee shop. The farm stall is located on the C15 road, 14 km from the Mata-Mata border.

Auob Lodge, a green Oasis in the Kalahari landscape, is situated on the banks of the dry Auob river. The 40-bed lodge has two family units, a restaurant, a lapa, a TV room and a lounge with a fireplace for chilly winter evenings.

In the 1800s the German Schutztruppe had an outpost where Gochas is today. On the site where Kamelruhe Guesthouse stands today, were the soldier and officer barracks and stables for their camels to rest and be fed before they continued on their patrol of the Kalahari and Botswana dessert region.
