Get up early, grab your kids and head straight to the House of Paint Air Show at Virginia Airport which takes place at the height of the July holiday season. There's a full programme of spectacular events for young and old featuring a non-stop series of high powered flying demonstrations, thrilling air acts and new aircraft on display. Over 15000 people are expected through the gates of Virginia Airport with more than 200 000 spectators watching from the surrounding areas.

The Durban Wings Club are expecting over 100 aircraft to fly in for the event. "We would like to welcome all the pilots that are participating in this year's event, and all those pilots that are flying in to spectate. If you are a pilot flying into Virginia Airport for the weekend, either as a visitor or as a display pilot, please register your aircraft and arrival/departure times.
