Calling all multi-sport gurus! Feel the heart beat. Go on, gear up for the EDEN Duo 24/7 adventure challenge!
"As soon as you stop moving, you lose your edge and the sleepmonster begins to stalk you" ...and when that monster grips you, it's over!

So, what’s so special about the EDEN Duo? This race is so fresh it’s still in the cellophane wrapper. Firstly, the stunning *adventure racing terrain in the Garden Route, the amazing records that have been set, fantastic prize money up for grabs and a cool vibe all contribute to make it one of adventure racing’s must do events. The record set by John Collins and Hano Smit in 2006/7 will be a huge challenge for whoever thinks they are great multi sport athletes. At present they still offer R1000 for any pair to beat their time of 14hours, 22 minutes. The EDEN Duo will be a classic in terms of Adventure Racing, enabling more athletes than ever to experience off the beaten track multi sport racing. Teams and pairs will mountain bike 60k’s, trail run 60k’s and paddle 20k’s. All team members will do the 10k’s of kloofing down the Kaaimans River after the start. *Adven'ture Ra'cing n. a multidiscipline, outdoor sport. Primary disciplines include navigation, running/trekking, mountain biking and paddling. Canyoneering, mountaineering, glacier travel, white water rafting, rope skills, inline-skating, kick-biking and other human-powered activites may be included. Events may be assisted or unassisted, staged or non-stop; and can take between 2hrs and 10-days to complete, depending on the nature of the event and the environment in which it is held.
Why do it? Adventure racing draws from primordial instincts in the human spirit - a spirit that's driven by the hunt for food and into the unknown.
