Laughing Chefs in Rietondale

Laughing Chefs

Rietondale Tapas restaurant in Rietondale

Situated off the busy Soutpansberg road, in lovely Rietondale, Laughing Chefs is definitely Pretoria’s best kept secret. From the street it looks like just a parking lot with a house, but follow the arrows and you will enter into a wonderland! Surrounded by lush gardens, a koi pond that feeds 4 waterfalls and a stream. Our outside seating is divided into different sections, ensuring that even when we are fully booked all our guests still enjoy privacy. The high trees and water blocks out the city noise, leaving you feeling as if you left the hustle and bustle far far behind. Our inside seating is just as magical. The venue consists of 3 different venue rooms, each with glass doors that can open completely. In the winter, each room has its own fireplace that burns the whole day, and in summer we open the doors, inviting the gardens and sunshine inside. High ceilings, wooden floors and lead glass windows complete the look. The menu is another triumph. It changes twice a month, with a selection of dishes that are sure to suit every taste. Although we think each menu is a masterpiece, we are flexible enough to accommodate even the pickiest eater. If we don’t have what you want on the menu, just ask and we will try and create something specially for you! Allergies? Dietary requirements? No problem! We aim to please. Planning a party, wedding, office party, christening, engagement, or any other celebration? Then why don’t you have it here! We cater for any function, and will plan your menu, seating area, decor and music to not only suit your taste, but to also suit your pocket. We work within your budget. But that is not our only advantages. We also do flowers, decor, invites and we have our very own photographer who offers her services to our clients at a better price! Our staff is well trained, friendly and informed. Our bar is fully licensed and stocked. Our parking secure and safe, with a security guard for larger functions and armed patrol cars guarding the premises 24/7. And the best of all? One of the owners will be there to assist you with anything. No middle man or manager, we believe in personalised service at all times. Why don’t you come and discover this hidden jewel? Looking forward to welcoming you in our little paradise.
