The eHlatini restaurant at Masizwane Lodge focuses on creating innovative and delicious meals by combining traditional European-style cuisine infused with a local twist, and avails of a fully stocked wine cellar offering fine South African wines.

The main lodge building houses the restaurant and a comfortable lounge area, where guests can sit back and enjoy a chilled glass of wine while watching birds flocking to the birdbath in front of the lounge deck, or just relax after a long day’s activities. The restaurant serves al fresco lunches and set dinners, either seated in the restaurant or in the Boma area under a million African stars. Fine meals are prepared with fresh ingredients, and are often infused with local flavours to create unique and tantalizing dishes. Guests will be accompanied by trained guides in open-air vehicles on all excursions. Kosi Forest Lodge guests are accommodated in luxurious thatched bedrooms well hidden in the sand forest. Rates include all meals, teas and coffees, a guided canoe trip, a guided walk in raffia forest and a sun down experience. The lodge can only be reached by four-wheel drive vehicles, and transfers are available twice daily from the Total Garage in Manguzi.

Kosi Forest Lodge dress code is casual. Please remember to bring sun block, footwear suitable for walking through swampy areas, windbreaker/raincoat, hat, torch and mosquito repellent.

The Kudu Bushlodge is ideal for groups as it consist of a deluxe, a family and a double suite. The units have open-plan kitchens, lounge areas and entertainment facilities. It has a swimming pool, a must for Zululand summers.

Scotia Camp is a 20-bed tented camp, situated beneath a Scotia tree overlooking a seasonal riverbed. There are three newly built Self-Catering Chalets, fitted with a fridge and freezer, gas cooker and a microwave. Guests have a well-appointed braai area and has access to the swimming pool.

Somkhanda Game Reserve is a 12000-hectare private reserve. It is located in the vast biodiverse area of Zululand KwaZulu-Natal.
