D’Aria is very happy to announce that The Parlotones will be performing on the lawn in front of their magnificent wine cellar on Sunday 12 February. The two previous years' Valentines shows with The Parlotones sold out weeks before the event, so make sure to get your tickets early!

The Parlotones are known for their electric, polished stage performances delivered against the backdrop of their deftly crafted and darkly romantic lyrics – perfect for an unforgettable pre-Valentines concert at sunset in the Winelands.

The Parlotones have proved to be the biggest and most popular English Rock/Alternative band in SA, selling out huge stadium shows and performing alongside legendary international bands like Collective Soul and Coldplay.

Join The Parlotones LIVE at D’Aria, Racecourse Rd, Durbanville on Sunday 12 February 2012 for an exclusive and romantic sunset concert. Please bring your picnic blanket and basket. There will be a range of award winning D’Aria wines on sale, as well as delicious food and a variety of other alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. (Please don't bring your own alcohol/beverages.)

You are also welcome to bring your umbrella or gazebo, but kindly take it down before the show starts in order for everyone to see the band clearly. If you bring your own chair, please sit at the back or on the sides so as to not affect the rest of the crowd’s view.

THE PARLOTONES RECORD 23 NEW SONGS FOR THEIR 4TH FULL LENGH ALBUM:
It has been 2 years since The Parlotones released a full length album. Their last offering ‘Stardust Galaxies” is fast approaching double Platinum status and spurned an incredible 6 radio singles during its reign on the charts. The long awaited follow up titled “Journey through the shadows” is bound to get fans giddy with excitement and is due to be released worldwide in April. The first single “Save Your Best Bits” has just been submitted to national radio stations.

THE PARLOTONES TO CLIMB MOUNT KILIMANJARO FOR UN WOMEN:
The Parlotones will be joining celebrities and members of the civil society, private and public sectors as well as media from 54 African countries when they climb Kilimanjaro from the 5 – 9 March 2012 to highlight the “Africa-UNiTE ‘Speak out Climb up to end Violence against Women and Girls’ campaign. The campaign aims to raise global awareness on ending violence against Women and Girls in Africa.

The Parlotones forthcoming album titled “Journey through the shadows” will be used to highlight important campaigns such as the Africa UNiTE Campaign and other social issues that desperately need to be brought out of the shadows and into the light.
