Description
The magical and untamed African mountain bike race is back!
Over 1 200 of the toughest and most determined or just plain crazy mountain bike competitors will be slogging through dirt for eight days – and they don’t scare easy.
The new route of the ninth Absa Cape Epic will be as exciting and challenging as previous years. Local and international riders will be cranking their pedals for the demanding eight-day adventure of 780 km with 16 300 m of climbing from the start at Durbanville.
With its exhilarating landscapes, the stage locations of Robertson, Caledon and Oak Valley await the most prestigious mountain bike stage race in the world, before riders again finish at the Lourensford Wine Estate.
