Established in 1904, the Himeville Arms Country Hotel has long been a famous destination in the Southern Drakensberg. Situated on the main road in the quaint village of Himeville, it is a pleasant drive nestled below the towering Drakensberg Mountains. With its old English charm and decor, we welcome you for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Our comfortable en-suite rooms are dotted throughout the beautiful grounds of the hotel. We offer three Family Suites sleeping four guests in each, seven fully serviced Backpacker Rooms and nine Double Rooms. Our dining room and pub provide all meals, and tea is available in the guest lounge and on the veranda. Guests can laze by the swimming pool while enjoying the rich bird life and taking in the views. After a long day, you can unwind and chat to new friends by the lounge fire with a cup of good coffee or a night cap.

We offer ideal conference facilities for up to 50 delegates in a lovely old sunken hall with stone walls and a cosy fireplace. The district is an ideal stopover to the great Wild Coast, and is renowned for its natural beauty, trout waters and walks. Guests can enjoy fishing as well as golfing, hiking, horse riding, tennis, bowling and squash. Doctors, a hospital, a chemist and fuel stations are all available nearby.

The Arms Country Pub is open every day until late for drinks, tasty lunches and dinners. The Knights Grill is adjacent to the Arms Pub which is open every Friday and Saturday evening, serving delicious meals in a warm and relaxed atmosphere. The Torridon Restaurant offers you a choice of country cuisine and a fine selection of wines. It is one of Natal’s most popular a la carte restaurants, specialising in succulent steaks, tasty seafood, fresh local trout and mouth-watering desserts.
