We had a short stay in Doonside to visit family but enjoyed the quietness and peaceful walks on the beach. Our accomodation was very comfortable and spacious.

Doonside is lovely! It is centrally located, has its own private swimming beach which is nice and quiet, and numerous amenities close by (Including malls, hospitals, water parks, fishing and snorkling locations and a golf course to name but a few). It is a mere 4km from central amanzimtoti, and not too far a drive from Durbz to the north, or Scottburgh to the south. In conclusion, the perfect coastal holiday destination.

while i am not the horse riding type...but my family had a great time because there is much to do in the area..the restaurants are enough to choose whatever you want and the beach is to die for.. i come from the north coast umdloti area, and though we have nice swimming areas there... but i truly enjoyed the place and i will recommend anyone to visit the place Doonside... bongani Khumalo ... We had a lovely stay at Doonside. The apartments are kept very clean, on check in no problem connecting the DSTV, really walking distance to the beach. Also very good and friendly service. I will recomend this accomodation to anyone that is looking for a nice family holiday.

the flat was amazing and the view spectacular. its so close to the beach and you get to go to sleep with the sound of the sea everynight its close to all the major attractions but away from the busyness of the city so you can relax as much as you want

Arriving at Doonside was great. All was in place. We were greeted by the owners and welcomed in. The fridge was not adequate and this was replaced almost immediately. The cleanliness and helpfulness of the staff were paramount. Pool clean. gardens maintained and extremely close to very nice beaches. Will definitely be back!! Thanks a lot The Schutte's

Nice place to be but need to activate at least the compact DStv so that when in house u also stay in touch with other developments within SA.

Doonside has one of cleanest beaches on the Natal South Coast. With a semi-private beach front with a good breath of fresh sea air daily. Total relaxation day or night. Good resturants with good home style food, horse riding on the beach, and best of all, total rest with peace of mind.

Doonside is a really nice, quiet place. We loved the peace and solitude. Amanzimtoti is close enough if you want nightlife, entertainment, noise and shopping.

This is a great location to get away from the hussle, but close enough to Amanzimtoti.

Close to national roads, shops and the lovely beach.
