Hoada Campsite is situated 75 km west of Kamanjab on the C40. The campsite offers three campsites located among beautiful granite hills and Mopani trees. The campsite is ideal for groups on 4X4 treks through Namibia.

The campsite has a small team on hand to assist with pitching tents or getting the fire going before sunset. Each campsite has its own shower, wash basin and toilette with running water. The hot water system works in combination with the braai area. There is no electricity or power pints.

The cosy campsite also has its own bar perched atop a granite hill, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a drink and watch the sun set over the horizon.

Mount Etjo Safari Lodge will recharge your spirit with a combination of luxurious accommodation, tranquil surroundings, magnificent scenery and spectacular wildlife in an unspoilt wilderness.

The lodge comprises 22 private luxury rooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom. Most rooms are equipped with a whirlpool Jacuzzi amongst other modern conveniences. At Camp Dinosaur we offer a comfortable camping experience for travellers down at the waterhole. Campers are welcome to participate in all activities offered at Mount Etjo.

Our game drives in open vehicles are an unforgettable African wildlife experience. We have elephant, black and white rhino, zebra, hippo, and many different species of antelope. After sunset guests have the wonderful opportunity to also observe the lion and leopard feeding from a close distance. Game walks are offered, mainly to the famous Dinosaur footprints, dating back 230 million years, described as Saurichnians.

'Sâsa' means 'peaceful' and is a Damara word. The camp offers panoramic views of the nearby Pareisis mountains. We are situated in the Ugab Valley of the Kunene region and are only one hour's drive to the famous Etosha National Park, the wildlife gem of southern Africa.

We are also close to day trip and outings to all the famous tourist attractions and historic landmarks such as the Vingerklip, the Petrified Forest and the Waterberg Plateau. It is also well located to visit other sightseeing places in the North Western Kunene Region like the Epupa Falls and the Himba people with their rich Himba Culture. Sâsa Safari Camp is near the main routes to the Angolan border.

Sâsa Safari Camp is built with natural stone from the area, blending in harmoniously with the backdrop of splendid rock formations.

Accommodation includes 10 twin bed chalets that share a large communal kitchen. Each chalet has its own bathroom and is comfortable, furnished and spacious. The campsites are rather special. Each site has its own barbecue area, table and chairs. Facilities include electricity, ladies and gents ablution with hot and cold water, washing facilities and a large open barbecue area. Wood can be purchased at reception.

Activities include a large, sparkling swimming pool, nature walks, birdwatching or just relaxing in the peaceful surroundings. Sâsa Safari Camp offers a guided hiking trail and a volley ball court. Relax in the peaceful surroundings of nature. Various wild animals, birds and reptiles can be spotted from time to time.

Ombinda Country Lodge is the ideal stopover before continuing your journey towards the famous Etosha National Park, the Vingerklip, the Petrified Forest or Twyfelfontein. The lodge offers guests comfort and leisure, with a touch of tranquility and true Namibian hospitality.

Accommodation is offered in 15 thatched double bungalows and nine double rooms. All of our bungalows and rooms have en–suite facilities and are comfortably furnished with indigenous materials. Free wireless Internet access is also available.

In addition, Ombinda Country Lodge offers spacious camping facilities on grass, equipped with electrical power points and braai areas. The campsites include a laundry, communal ablution blocks and the use of the restaurant and swimming pool area are open to all guests.

Madisa Campsite is situated on the popular D2612 road going towards Twyfelfontein, in Namibia. The camp is hidden between unusual rock formations and is privy to a desert elephant route, that often gets visited by these beautiful giants.

There are nine Private Campsites with their own ablution facilities, and five large Overland Sites with shared ablution facilities. Each campsite has lovely views of the Gauntegab River bed and rock formations, as well as solar-powered lights.

The ablution facilities are built on stilts and hidden in the tree tops. The braai areas also double-up as a donkey system for hot running water at each open-air shower.

The swimming pool and bar area are tucked away among the granite rocks, very welcoming after a long day and socializing with other guests. Game drives, sun downers, village walks, and tracking the desert-adapted elephants are some activities to enjoy.

The restaurant is open for all main meals, as well as light meals and snacks. A performance by the Damara people will entertain guests each evening.

A boma with braai facilities provides a relaxing atmosphere in which guests can enjoy the cool evening air and look at the stars while having a night cap or just watching the fire. Farm Gamkarab mainly offers camping. The camping ground is large enough to accommodate 20 people, and situated near the farm dam. There is only one gents and one ladies shower, with warm water only available at the main house. Guest need to bring all their own equipment and braai grids for the braai area. There is no kitchen facilities, water or electricity at the camp ground. Guest can charge their mobile phones and laptops at the main house. The farm dam is filled with koi and is the ideal spot to cool down during the warm summer months.

Additional accommodation is available in a basic guest unit, with two bedrooms to sleep four people comfortably. The unit is adjacent to the main house and has no electricity or cooking facilities. Meals are available on request.

Activities at this working cattle farm, includes horse riding trails and cave exploration. The Gamkarab Cave was used as a water source for the bushman and local wildlife. Visitors can explore the dark cave which leads 60 meters down to the water point. The cave system fans out underwater and researchers are still exploring the myriad of tunnels. Explorers need to bring their own headlights and wear old clothes and comfortable shoes.
