5 Rooms restaurant can be found on the beautiful Alphen Estate in Constantia. The restaurant is set in the historic Manor House which creates an Old World, stylish atmosphere that exudes the class and elegance of bygone eras. The interior is filled with antiques juxtaposed by modern, fine dining cuisine.
The menu caters for all tastes and meat, seafood and vegetarian options are varied and plentiful. Only the freshest produce is used and this shines through in the bursts of flavour delivered on every plate. Try the imaginative Fish Tank, a mix of seafood served in a glass fish bowl - what an experience. The lamb trilogy is also a favourite and comprises lamb loin, lamb tortellini and a succulent lamb cutlet.
A great, extensive wine list and a range of other beverages including whiskeys and smooth cognacs are served to complement the cuisine.
