So it's time for the annual drumming festival at Bomvu Paradise in Coffee Bay, and this year there's an extra Psy-Trance party from the 13th to the 14th hosted by The Village. The cultural drumming festival will begin on the 11th of July and continue till the 12th with arts crafts and a drumming marathon so bring along ye drums and instruments if you wish to join, and then the Psy-Trance festival runs from the 13th till 14th with a selection of rock solid dj's and artists taking the stage. There's a great line-up of drumming acts and psy-trance acts - Bomvu Tribal Rhythms, Ingwenengwe Kazi, Xatrik, BioRhythm, Rubix Qube along with DJs Skarab, Xatrik, Kid_x, Lunar, Crypsis, Jamjah, FreeSwim, Sons of Zulu and Green Spirit Foundation. Need to know? Money (it is really difficult to get money out there so be prepared), camping gear, insect repellant, swimming gear, surfboard (the waves are killa!), enough food (Bomvu also prepares food for those not wanting to cook) and sun protection.
