Description

Are you up for a mountainous challenge in the Mother City this spring? The 35km trail run around Cape Town's iconic Table Mountain poses a gruelling challenge for experienced runners. Sure to attract top athletes from around the globe, the route takes participants through cool indigenous forest with mountain streams, slopes of fynbos and stunning views. Runners negotiate fynbos footpaths along the mountain slopes, traversing indigenous forest, crossing mountain streams and scrambling along steep cliffs. A team format allows less experienced runners to compete too, with legs varying in distance from 8  to 17km. Check out the awesome route at trailrunning.co.za.
