The main area extends onto a large wooden deck with a sparkling swimming pool that overlooks a floodlit waterhole that is frequently visited by an abundance of wildlife including elephant and lion.

The tents are all well equipped with comfortable furnishings. They have electricity and en-suite bathrooms with hot and cold water. Each tent has extensive living areas overlooking the Kasane Forest Reserve. Their positions ensure privacy and stunning vistas from the spacious bedrooms. In addition to the lodging facilities, there is a restaurant and a boma where guests can enjoy scrumptious meals and traditional music around the log fire.

Activities include game drives, boat cruises at sundown, birdwatching over the wetlands, village tours and a swimming pool at the camp. Other activities include golfing, fishing and spa treatments.

Thebe River Safaris is ideally situated for visitors to the Chobe National Park and Chobe River area in Northern Botswana. Our lodge and camp overlook the placid Chobe River and echo the surrounding bush with a rustic design.

The lodge offers a Family Room and Twin Rooms. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms with a shower with ample hot water. All beds have mosquito nets ensuring a peaceful night’s sleep, and all units are fitted with air-conditioning. The Family Room contains a double bed which leads through an interleading door to a room with two single beds - perfect for families. The rooms are serviced daily and have tea and coffee-making facilities. The camp also offers spacious Campsites with covered cooking areas. Ablutions are shared and we have two large communal ablution blocks with showers, hot water, basins, mirrors and toilets.

There is a rustic restaurant and bar area overlooking the placid Chobe River. Guests can enjoy a fine meal or drinks from the bar and take a swim in the inviting pool if the weather gets hot. There is satellite television in the bar to catch up on the latest international news or sports.

Thebe River Safaris offers daily morning or afternoon game drives into the Chobe National Park. All drives are in open-backed safari vehicles with open seats. Take to the waters of the Chobe River on a river safari cruise. Depending on the number of guests, cruises are either on our large pontoon boats which seat 40 people, or on one of our smaller aluminium speed boats which can seat a maximum of 20 people. Guests are welcome to take their own drinks on the cruise. Game is common along the river’s edge and the birding can be incredible during the summer months. Elephant are commonly seen as well as buffalo, kudu, bushbuck, hippo, giraffe and sable.

Allow yourself to be pampered by the Nature's Health & Beauty Salon. Offering treatments for men and women, the salon is located at the lodge and provides deep-cleansing facials, manicures, pedicures, massage, tinting and waxing.

Offering a selection of accommodation, each room is equipped with modern amenities and comforts. All rooms have TV sets with decoders to allow guests to tune into the local Btv station for local programming and news, or other TV stations of their choice.

In order to protect guests from mosquito bites, we have fitted treated mosquito nets in all rooms. However guests are still advised to use any mosquito repellents of their choice. For your comfort and hygiene, all the rooms have en-suite bathrooms.

Guests at the Bonazazi Border Lodge can enjoy the use of our spacious swimming pool. The pool is fitted with a protective wooden fence to restrain under-age children from accidentally falling in.

After a refreshing swim guests can relax at our pool-side bar and restaurant, which have been decorated with African art. This area can also be booked for special occasions like weddings, birthday parties and valentine dinners.
