We asked all establishments on our website to send us quirky, spicy, fresh and thoughtful tales of memorable moments at their spot. We had a fantastic response which just goes to prove that we offer the best that is out there!

Ralph from the Ichingo Chobe River Lodge in the Caprivi Strip was one of the frontrunners to submit his fishy tale...

Every now and again the underdog has its day. In this case the "striped waterdog" or Hydrocyanus vittatus , commonly known as Tigerfish!

The Tigerfish in the picture had obviously had enough of being hunted down and turned the tables to get a serious bite of the fisherman.
Anyone who has seen Tigerfish teeth will know that this leaves a nasty wound and memento of a tough day’s fishing.

Spend your next holiday or long weekend getaway at Ichingo Chobe River Lodge!
