It’s the perfect place to spend the day with friends and family, the market offers a great selection of quality organic products and produce in a relaxing and safe environment.

Stalls are shaded under stretch Bedouin tents on the village green at Intaka Island. The onsite clubhouse has seating facilities, and offers coffee, tea and a bar and boat trips are on offer from Intaka Island to Canal Walk.

Come and enjoy delicious and healthy gourmet meals, biltong, cheeses, beer, champagne, wine, specialty coffees, pickles, preserves, olives, freshly baked farm breads, confectionary, honey, koeksisters, cakes, cookies, fresh juice and smoothies.

Purchase seasonal organic vegetables, fresh herbs, worm bins, seedlings and shrubs at this monthly market. If you are looking for gifts there will be stalls selling quality crafts and clothing at reasonable prices or spoil yourself with fabulous natural body care products and jewellery.

Animal tails will be back looking for loving homes for rescued dogs and there will fun and games for children with a jumping castle and go-kart track.

Need to know? Venue: Central Park, Park Lane, Century City (follow Intaka Island signs). Directions: from Cape Town along the N1, take the Sable road turn off to the left, at the top of the off ramp turn left, you will now be travelling with Table Mountain on your left and Ratanga on your right. Follow the road around the bend; this road now becomes Ratanga Rd. Follow Ratanga Road straight down, at the third set of robots, turn right into Century Boulevard. Go over one speed bump to reach a circle, go around the circle, and exit it right into Century Way (you will see signage saying Intaka Island). Once in Century Way take the first left into Park Lane (again follow Intaka and Century City House signage) come all the way down. The Clubhouse is on the right.
