Travelled during June 2012 and started with accommodation at Kaisosi River Lodge, Rundu, which was fascinating, on the banks of the Okavango river with Angola on the other side. The bird wildlife and the setting of the establishment is outstanding, a wonderful place to rest and relax. Next stop was Katima Mulilo, which is a long car journey that promised to offer game viewing in abundance, however on this occasion we saw nothing, which is how it goes when relying on nature! On the return journey we stayed at Nunda Lodge, Divundu, what a super place! We were totally in love with the resident hippo's outside our chalet overlooking the river and the sunset boat cruise is a must! We loved the place, the food and the personal attention of the owners. Whilst staying at Nunda we then travelled to the nearby Mhangu Game Reserve which was stunning. Close proximity to our accommodation and we saw an abundance of game with giraffe, elephants, springboks, zebra, etc and a very impressive herd of buffalo. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and will definitely return!
