Gateway to the tropical Caprivi Strip, Katima Mulilo Airport (also known as Mpacha Airport) is approximately five km outside Katima Mulilo, the capital of the Caprivi.
Home to the Big Five, this region attracts numerous visitors to the wildlife parks. The airport is conveniently situated just two hour’s drive from Victoria Falls and about four hours from the Okavango Delta in Botswana.
Katima Mulilo airport has reliable fuel services giving rise to many refuelling stops for air traffic from South Africa en route to Central Africa. Customs and Immigration Officers are at the airport. Air Namibia flies between Katima Mulilo Airport and Windhoek.
