Sea Point Italian restaurant
This cosy Italian restaurant serves up hearty food in big portions. This is the place to socialize over a glass of wine while enjoying food that is made to your taste.
At the heart of any Italian restaurant are the pizzas and pastas and here it is no different. Choose from a wide variety of toppings and combinations, and be sure to wash it down with a good glass of vino.
The restaurant is unpretentious but warm and inviting and the service is usually excellent. The Italian spirit sines through and in just a few minutes you will feel like family.
If it is big portions, affordable prices, and down to earth good food you want, pay Bella Italia a visit.
Century City Italian restaurant
This Italian restaurant is set in arguably one of the most beautiful settings in Century City. Diners can sit in what feels like a real Italian piazza overlooking the tranquil waters of the canal surrounded by plants, trees and peace. The delightfully simple and rustic menu contains all the old favourites - with a modern twist.
Diners are spoilt for choice and starters range from straight forward focaccia or calamari to more complex dishes such as the Carpaccio - pepper-crusted beef fillet topped with mushrooms, parmesan shavings and rocket.
A variety of truly Italian pizzas and pastas are available and a combination to try is the 'trenette' pasta with calamari, mussels, porcini mushrooms, black olives and cherry tomatoes in a chilli, garlic, white wine and olive oil sauce.
House speciality seems to be the fillet served with a reduced balsamic vinaigrette topped with rocket and parmesan shavings, the prawns prepared in a secret special Pernot sauce and the 'eight and a half pasta' with Italian sausage in a tomato sauce.
This restaurant is open seven days a week from 10.30 am until 10 pm. Booking is advised.
