The Culture, colours, tastes, smells and beautiful scenery, sun drenched beaches, cray fishing, the game parks, the winery's in Stellenbosch. Addo Elephant park, the list is endless, these will stay with you forever. I love Cape Town and the whole of the Garden Route. I talk so much about it. When ever I say I am going back everyone is envious. So lots more visitors will be coming apart from those I have already encouraged to come and have been and LOVE it.

I have been to a few International destinations on holiday in my life, but when it comes to Cape Town, its always a "WOW" for me.
I am South African and will always be amazed of whats on offer when I take a break to Cape Town.
Its just a beautiful City all together. The one thing that stands out the most for me is the scenery, oh its so amazing.
Good food, friendly faces, easy access to move around, accommodation with high class standards at reasonable prices.
I will and have recommend Cape Town to South Africans and International friends and always got good reviews.
Hope to see you soon My Cape Town

I feel there is too much of focus on oversees travellers that we forget that there is domestic visitors. Prices are for dollar/pound people. This has caused that these places suffer when these oversees people do not come. Have prices for SADC countries as well as oversees people.

If you have ever been to Cape Town then you know what Im talking about. The air is cleaner, the sky is brighter blue, everything with colour just looks like it is brighter. I love the people as they are soo humerous. I stayed at the Peninsula All suite Hotel in Seapoint. Loved the hotel with friendly staff, fantastic buffet breakfasts, free shuttle service to the waterfront. The suite we had a kitchenette and stunning sea view with balcony to chill while sipping on a glass of wine and listen to the waves of the ocean. For the kids there is a games room to keep them entertained and it is supervised , so you dont have to worry about your child wondering off. The staff are excellent at entertaining them.
To tour we went on the Red topless double decker bus, every stop you can jump off for the whole day and jump on the bus to your next destination. With the fantastic tour you get to hear about the history of cape town while you view it.
The shopping malls are huge and great for us ladies.
The botanical gardens with squirrels and lovely set gardens, soo peaceful to just read the newspaper and listen to the birds.
Taking the cable car up to table mountain is an awsome feeling to see the view, and to eat in the fabulous restaurants on top are delicious . Soo glad there is specials on certain evenings to take the cable car and get vouchers to eat.
Flea markets, pavement stalls are good to site see as well.
Taking a train ride to simons town was fantastic, you ride along the shoreline to see the bluest of oceans and relaxing ride.

This is a very popular tourist attraction besides being a working port. You can sense the vibrancy of the area as soon as you get there. There just seems to be a lightness of mood as people wander around the stores and look at the attractions.
There is a giant ferris wheel which is particularly impressive with the blue sky as a backdrop.
It is called The Wheel of Excellence and was built for the World Soccer in 2010. I was not on it but understand it affords an amazing view of Table Mountain, the city and harbor. A panoramic view of Cape Town.
From the waterfront you can get a boat to Robben Island where Mandela was held prisoner for so many years. Or you can get on a harbor tour which gives the tourist a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains.
The shopping mall is quite large and boasts a variety of stores. Some high end stores and some for the rest of us. There are great places to buy African souvenirs.
We ate at a very nice restaurant and sat outside. The service was efficient and the food good.

Cape Town is the most beautiful city to live in and to visit. It has everything from sea and surf to mountains, forests and wine farms. Cape Town is great for anything from fine foods to kite surfing, from mountain biking to fishing, to great shows and the cultural scene!
