Robert De Carvalho introduces his Mediterranean roots and culinary expertise with mouthwatering flavours from the Med, Portugal and South Africa in a relaxed setting perfect for lunch or dinner.

Member of various international cooking teams and the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs, Roberto’s Signature Restaurant caters with a succulent menu and reasonable wine list.

Start off with tapas, like bifanas (marinated pork medallions) or baby rump steak espetada. Vegetarians can take delight in chunky Napoletana sauce with fried aubergine slices, baked golden brown with mozzarella and parmesan.

Mains include beef espetada in two sizes served with Portuguese flat bread, and delicious trinchado in white wine garlic sauce served with pickled carrots and olives.

The pièce de résistance comes in the form of Mediterranean crayfish thermidor flambéed in silky brandy sauce served with linguini and roast vegetables.

Round off the meal with sinful hot toffee apple pudding or delicioius pastéis de nata (custard tarts).
