Good size portions - meat ordered medium rare and received it well done. My partners steak sauce tasted stale, however my mushroom sauce was ok. The chips were fantastic - French fries! The salad reminded me of what I was forced to eat when I was a youngster, tomatoes, lettuce and onion; very boring. The price at the end of the meal was quite a shock as we had been enjoying many a restaurant in BYO at nearly half the price. The hostess on duty that night seemed far more interested in looking out the window or at the TV than engaging us and never asked us how our meals were, and when we didn't leave a tip (because we felt it was already enough to pay nearly 40 dollars for two people) she raised her eyebrows and only managed a corner smile as we left. Tips are not obligatory my dear!
