Chill out, explore and get into summer’s groove in Bonnievale. Get out for a breath of fresh country air and a summer workout at the 2008 Bonnievale Bonanza. This fantastic town festival is for oumas and lighties, pimplies and wrinklies alike!

Each year the friendly townsfolk of Bonnievale set aside the first weekend of November for cyclists, walkers, runners and couch potatoes to come and enjoy the beauty and fun festivities in the countryside. On offer this year are three cycling routes, one mountain bike route and a 5km fun run/walk. For those mad about machines there will also be enduro routes for the motorcyclists and quad bike enthusiasts, as well as a brand new 4x4 route. Everyone will find something to keep them happy from plentiful stalls to shop at, a play park for kids, competitions, artists’ performing and of course a beer tent (no South African festival would be complete without one). There’s even a Mej Bonnie Babe en Tiener Bonanza competition!
