Khomeesdrif is a campsite on the banks of the Riviersonderend River, at the foothills of the Sonderend Mountains. This lovely site is wheelchair friendly and offers 30 camping and caravan sites on grass; most of them are shaded.

Olifantsdoorn offers a variety of activities to tourists including fly-fishing, mountain biking, bird watching, hiking and 4X4 trips in the adjacent Riviersonderend Mountains. Accommodation is currently provided for in the form of camping facilities and overnight rooms with a fully-equipped kitchen and lapa. Rates are extremely affordable.

The once booming railway industry was ground to a halt in Robertson a few years back and its remnants are now the setting of the On Rail 62 Train Lodge. It promises to be a completely novel experience, sleeping in comfort in a train coach that is truly historical.
