Description

Housed in an original farmhouse dating back to 1677, and looking out onto the majestic Hottentots Mountain range, it’s easy to understand why this bistro bustles with satisfied palates.

The interior boasts lovely wooden floors, whitewashed walls and a roaring winter fire made even more comfortable by the lingering aroma of the pizza oven.

The menu enjoys classic dishes with a contemporary French and South African twist.

Start with a flavourful cheddar and spinach soufflé, and the Camembert wrapped in phyllo pastry served with caramelised pecans and a spicy tomato coulis.

The signature crispy half-duck is a must try, succulent and rich, perfectly paired by the tangy berry jus.

Vegetarians can enjoy the delicious feuilletée of mushroom, butternut, chevin and phyllo served on a sweet tom yum sauce.
