We went to Warmbaths Resort for the day and the kids loved it!! Cheesy and old, but a full day of entertainment for R70 each, what's not to like!

Lots to do here with a variety of activities for different age groups. Zebula Game Reserve, which includes Botsebotse, was amazing and the town itself is very lively. Picturesque town.

After visiting Kruger and the Panorama Route, we stayed in Bela Bela to relax before leaving South Africa. This was our last pleasant surprise in this country.

This is a stunning family getaway destination. Not that much to do though, but the Dros is a must especially if you have kids! The scenery is beautiful.

Bela Bela has a lot to offer, if you know where to look. The Forever Resort, Crocodile Park, Zebula Game reserve just to mention a few things you can do when you visit Bela Bela.

My Mother/In Law ld lives in Warmbaths and we have explored the area extensively, we find it to be a very tourist orientated town with lots of things to do.
The weather and humidity got us down a little though, better to visit during the Winter months.

We discovered a lot of activities that one can undertake in Warmbaths!!! Its not just about the "warm-baths" - there is the crocodile farm, the 'zipline' - apparently the longest in Africa, game reserves etc, etc....
Unfortunately our pockets did not match our wants!!! We will be better prepared next time!!!

Warmbaths will always be an attraction to most people. There is so much to do in the area. Not one day spent there was boring. And every day for a week we visited different places and did not have time to see everything. We deffinately will be visiting this area again soon - even if it is just for a week-end get-away.

My Warmbaths trip started and ended badly but the middle was perfect. I booked at "Plekkie in die Son" for 2 adults and 2 kids. I lost money as the other adult didn't turn up! My 2 little girls and I had the most wonderful holiday, swimming in warm pools, horse riding, game driving and enjoying the last of Summer. The accommodation was Perfect to say the least. On our trip home, the Water Pump broke on my car and it cost me a fortune to repair but even though it ended badly, the remains of our little holiday kept me smiling. I can't wait to go again and will be taking my parents from England to our little Place in the Sun. To win would be an awesome gift to add to what I trust will be perfect Start, Middle and End. It's easy to get to, easy to find your way around and has everything a holiday maker requires. Bela Bela is my new holiday destination.

What a warm and welcoming place! Went to Bela Bela to compete in the 5150 Triathlon... very hot day but the organistion was superb and the support second to none. De Draai Guest Farm was lovely. Debby went out of her way to make us feel at home. The rooms were delightful and, more important, very comfortable. Home away from home!

Bela Bela is my favourtie area for holidaying. There are activities for all ages, keeps the kids and adults having fun and spending quality time that we dont get to do all that often in JHB. Taking a step back to just enjoying oursleves with each other and enjoying the tranquil, stress free area. Not a lot of traffic, not a lot of people, just perfect. Activites like horse riding, fufi slides, or game drives, or just enjoying the warm water from the springs and spa. Awesome, we love it.

There is nothing like a quick cost effective getaway, where you can relax and unwide. The convenience of being a reasonable travel distance from from major cities. Accomodation caters for all ages and has different types of additional entertainment, to keep the kids out your hair. BEATS INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL.

I took my wife there for our honeymoon and it was awesome. We stayed at a private home on a game farm just outside Bela-Bela. They main event for my wife was the Elephant safari she just loves them. And for me was the Legends Golf course Extreme 19th Hole what a view and what a beautiful golf course.
I would recommend anyone of any age that loves the bush and to play golf to put this on there bucket list.

It is a great venue for camping or weekend getaway. The only problem is that day visitors crowd the pool area tremendously which does not make it a pleasure for residents. It would be great if residents and day visitors could have separate areas. Facilities and services are great, but not a pleasure sharing entertainment areas with thousands of day visitors.

I spent a weekend in Bela Bela recently and found the forever resorts facilities absolutely enjoyable and well worth the stay. I also experienced an excellent dining experience in a quaint restaurant De Zee Meeu on the R101. The Mystic Monkeys and the surrounding dams offered excellent entertainment at a very reasonable price.

AS SOON AS YOU GET INTO BELE BELA,YOU CAN FEEL THAT AIR OF RELAXATION.YOU KNOW YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE A GOOD TIME.IT SAVES YOU MONEY BECAUSE YOU DO NOT HAVE TO DRIVE MORE THAN TWO HOURS TO GET THERE,SO YOU SAVE ON FUEL.THE HOSTS TREAT THEIR GUESTS VERY WELL. I DO NOT KNOW IF THEY ATTEND A COURSE ON CUSTOMER CARE BECAUSE THEY DO A GOOD JOB OF IT.IF YOU ARE TREATED WELL AS A GUEST,YOU FEEL LIKE GOING FOR MORE GOOD TREATMENT.

It really is a family get away for the weekend. My children really enjoyed the slides, swimming and the rowing on the river. What a nice place to take the family and spend the whole day there with no worries at all.
Will definitely like to visit again and the workers are very friendly and helpful.

Bela Bela is the ideal holiday destination for all - whether you want to getaway as a romantic couple, family, group or friends, this town is the hot spot that conveniently borders Gauteng (it's a mere 1 hour's drive you know!). There is so much to do - whether you are into the Big 5, hearty meals, cable water skiing or getting that desired tan, you will never be bored in Bela Bela. The climate is the biggest draw card - winter is a word that hardly exists! The mild climate during the June/July months is perfect for outdoor activities - even the hot springs are abuzz during the "cold" months. Bela Bela is a must for anybody wanting to escape the hustle and bustle of city life.

Bela-Bela Warmbaths is world-renowned as a holiday and health destination. The hot mineral springs bubble out of the earth. The temperature of the water is a pleasant 53° C and is rich in sodium chloride, calcium carbonate and other mineral salts that have healing properties.
The town of Bela-Bela (previously known as Warmbaths) is also known as a good agricultural region and has some well-stocked game reserves. Most of the resorts in Bela-Bela offer excellent sporting, accommodation and restaurant facilities. The area boasts the "Big Five" and virtually every savannha species of game found in South Africa. It is the ideal destination for hiking, game drives and birdwatching.

Unfortunately, the city did not leave any impression as we expected a more of a spa feeling. The surrounding country side was more appealing.

The area has good family entertainment with two premier resorts, Forever Resort and ATKV Klein Kariba. There are fantastic game drives, horse riding, quad bike game drives, mountain biking and even elephant safaris in close proximity of Bela Bela. There are some good chain restaurants, and I was particularly impressed with Dros. There are good spa facilities nearby.
The overall accommodation is of high quality and caters for both the budget and high-end tourist.
