Baviaans Region Guest House

The Old Jail bed and breakfast is a historical building from 1880 and was a jail until the 1950s. It has changed hands numerous times until its new owners purchased it and subsequently beautifully and lovingly restored and changed it into a luxury bed and breakfast.

Experience an important piece of South African History in this historic building, with Victorian furniture, old world charm and unsurpassed hospitality. The garden and self-catering cottages are all en-suite, and drinks are served in the old bar or garden.

Blue Hill Escape offers guest house and self-catering accommodation in a 2300-hectare nature reserve in the Kouga Mountains in the Western Cape. The property lies to the west of the Baviaanskloof Wilderness area and shares two borders with the reserve.
