Ballito rocks to the tunes of The Parlotones, CrashCarBurn and The Black Hotels this December!
The Parlotones are an accoustic pop band gathering fans worldwide. With their latest album already platinum in South Africa and due for release in UK/Europe and US this year, the Parlotones are right at the top. More than 200 shows in 2008 saw them performing across SA, UK and Europe, including Live Earth, Coke Fest and V Fest. Add to that a string of awards and this Johannesburg-based rock band is hitting the high notes.
The Black Hotels are an indie rock band from Johannesburg, South Africa. Formed in May 2006 their first release, a five-track EP called Beautiful Mornings, made them one of the most critically acclaimed SA indie bands of 2007 and 2008.
CarCrashBurn "Imagine you've been living your life without a care in the world, happily going about your ways with little concern for the people around you. Then, one day, you're involved in a massive car crash. Who knows how, but you manage to drag yourself from the flames. Its a miracle you survived! Either you pick yourself up and simply carry on the same way you did before, or you realize that you might not be here tomorrow, and start making some changes towards becoming a better person. This alternative rock band has been that car wreck for us. We hope it will be for others too."
