Make the beautiful North Coast your Winter HOT SPOT! Be a part of the new and exciting annual Ballito Prawn & Jazz Festival to be held over the Mr Price Pro Surfing weekend from the 2 - 4 July 2010.
The festival promises a fun filled family weekend of gastronomic delights, gourmet prawns, beer tent, kids carnival, sports events , organic market, live jazz, indoor and outdoor exhibitors, crafters and extreme riders to wow!
Festival organizers, Leanne Rencken and Nikki Patterson aim to be part of
making a difference in the lives of disadvantaged local communities. The festival will raise funds for earmarked community based projects presently being assisted by the likes of Rotary International, Round Table and the Lions Club.
In celebrating the 2010 Soccer World Cup, the focus will be on various sporting events in the programme and local schools will be encouraged to enter teams in the various sporting events. Together with Rotary International, Round Table and the Lions Club, selected local projects will be identified and a percentage of festival proceeds will be donated to deserving local projects which are uplifting and making a difference in their communities.
