Mountain Shadows Guest House is situated on a working wine and olive farm at the foot of the picturesque Drakenstein Mountains in the heart of the Cape Winelands, a few minutes away from Paarl. The historic Cape Dutch manor house dates back to 1823 and has been declared a National Monument.

This Wine Farm Lodge, overlooking the Tempel vineyards, is embedded in lush verdure on the western bank of the Berg River. The farm is easily accessible only a few hundred metres off the R45 between Paarl and Wellington in the Winelands. Four guest cottages surround the old farm house, each accommodating two to four guests with a total capacity of 12 guests.
