The Bahnhof Hotel was initially built in 1906 and after extensive renovations in 2005, the hotel is now shining in new splendour. The hotel offers 21 plain, yet elegantly decorated and immaculate clean rooms, and also boasts an excellent kitchen, an inviting sun deck, and a historic bar.

At Namtib Biosphere Reserve, the Jewel of the Tiras Mountains, we offer our visitors not only a relaxing holiday, but an unforgettable and genuine Namibian experience at the edge of the famous Namib-Naukluft Park.

Each of the eight chalets has been built from natural rock around a huge granite boulder and is equipped with a private bathroom, kitchenette, fireplace and its own veranda. Meals are served at the Desert Horse Inn restaurant.

We invite you to experience the beauty and tranquility of Hoodia Desert Lodge. It is surrounded by majestic mountains on the banks of the Tsauchab River. A mere 20-minute drive will bring you to the Sesriem Gate - the entrance of the world-famous red sand dunes of Sossusvlei.

Each unit has its own toilet, wash basin, hot/cold shower, kitchen wash-up facility, light, barbecue, and 220V electricity point. We offer 12 units arranged in circle around a sparkling swimming pool in the desert. Own camping gear is required, tent, sleeping bags, cutlery, crockery and many more.

Desert Camp, an exciting new self-catering facility for families just 4 kilometres away from Sossusvlei Lodge on the private reserve This facility is situated only four kilometres away from the main lodge at the entrance gate to Sossusvlei (Namib Naukluft Park) and is also ideal for tour groups with meals served at the Lodge.
