What a truly amazing place to visit. To think that some people travel the world and haven't explored the wonders of our own backyard is a shame. The staff are friendly and efficient, the pathways and lookout points are great, and the falls itself, well you have to see that for yourself to appreciate its beauty and splendor

The whole area is beautiful and enjoyable even for kids, but you must have a car with aircon! Won't go camping there during summer time.
The falls and all the other landmarks in the National park are absolutely stunning! The restaurant in the park has good food en friendly staff.
But there are other areas worthwhile visiting they the Blueputz area ( vineyards) close to the orange River.
Then the whole Riemvasmaak area is a must!
Taste the grapes of the area, so sweet!

Very awesome, breathtaking scenery. We always wanted to go to the Falls. The vast nature and rock formations are indescribable and one can only stand in awe and recognize how great God is.
The lookouts and paths are well kept and very good.

Augrabies, 7 km away is a Nature Lovers paradise. Great walks and drives in what feels like an alien landscape. Magic!

My elderly mother has wanted to visit for years and although the weather wasn't fantastic, the time spent at the falls was amazing. I was worried about accessibility because of my mom's hip (replacement), but she had no problems, and with her crutch we walked those walkways and lookouts for 3 and a half hours!

Well worth the visit. Pity walkways are only being repaired now, but once they are finished it will be great. The Dassie Trail is well worth the walk.

This area is mostly visited by tourists who have been to South Africa several times. Augrabies Falls is a highlight of the Northern Cape. This is a remote arid location with bizarre rock formations and the sixth largest waterfall in the world in an amazingly impressive gorge, makes the area an unmissable destination for those looking for somewhere a bit different.

The park should step up its service, we couldn't book the night safari because the tour guide was on holiday. Also several view decks are still broken after the floods of January 2011. But the falls are impressive, even when the water is low.
