The Café at Hubbard’s Cupboard finds itself in a pretty little nursery in the sea-side town of Hermanus. The café offers its guests a tranquil setting for recharging one’s batteries with a light meal after a bout of sight seeing or shopping. The restaurant is sunny and has a lovely look out onto the nursery. It is a cosy spot for a small celebration like a baby shower or kitchen tea. The menu offers all the coffee shop favourites ranging from health breakfasts, light meals like quiche and other tea time treats like muffins, scones and cakes. The restaurant also sells homemade preserves, biscotti or shortbread. Other items for sale include pastries and olives.

A garden café, our restaurant is nestled between the shady trees of the Green with Envy nursery and offers a delicious assortment of meals, from hearty and healthy breakfast to cakes, coffee and light lunches. It’s the perfect place for friends to meet! Our seating capacity is 40 pax; trading hours from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Sunday. We also have a fabulously fresh function venue in this well-loved nursery. Ideal for your next event, the venue caters for up to 60 people and you are welcome to bring your own catering. Alternatively our restaurant can plan a menu according to your budget and requirements. The nursery, Green with Envy Plant Nursery, is where you will find top-quality plants and truly inspirational gardening ideas. Exciting news: our landscape division is headed by Patsi, who will take on anything from your veranda pots to a full garden landscape. We also offer garden consultations.
