Deer Cottage is a quaint renovated cottage located on a farm just outside of Kirkwood. This farm cottage dates back to 1890 and is home to the resident Axis Deer and Springbuck. Steeped in the history of past Anglo-Boer conflicts, it is now a tranquil getaway for flora and fauna enthusiasts.

Gonjah Chalet is located amongst the indigenous forest just outside of Patensie in the Gamtoos River Valley. The property offers a cosy cottage sleeping seven guests, as well as a campsite. The accommodation offers an ideal location for those looking for a rural yet comfortable stay.

The little town of Patensie lies virtually at the mouth of the Baviaanskloof Wilderness area, hidden away in the southwestern corner of the Eastern Cape and only an hour’s drive from Port Elizabeth. It’s the last stop before entering the Wilderness.

Tween Trees is situated on a citrus farm, 1 km from Patensie on the route to Baviaanskloof. We offer a beautiful flatlet set in a large and quiet garden. The unit is fully equipped and sleeps four guests comfortably.

Tia Ghee Tented Camp offers nine tents, each on wooden decks and equipped with beds, bedding and towels. Flush toilets and hot showers help make your stay more comfortable, and as there is no electricity we use gas, paraffin and fire.

De Mist Cottage is a peaceful and relaxing place to stay, amid the ordered neatness of the citrus orchards with serene views of the nearby hills. The cottage can sleep up to five guests and is suitable for couples or small families.

On the brim of the magnificent Baviaanskloof Mega Reserve, in the heart of the citrus farming community of Patensie, lies the Ripple Hill Hotel. Built in 1946, the hotel carries an old-school charm and character, with raised ceilings and wooden floors throughout.
