Victoria Bay Accommodation

Victoria Bay Backpackers is situated on the way to the famous Victoria Bay beach near George along the Garden Route. Situated in a coastal forest, within walking distance from the beach, it is a unique experience which will appeal to the adventurous traveller, nature lover, surfer, and families.

It is hard to imagine a finer setting for a guest house than at the foot of the majestic Outeniqua Mountains, close to the popular beach resort of Victoria Bay. Inn Victori is a brand new establishment surrounded by one-hectare of lush fynbos garden, offering four luxury double rooms.

The Waves is a family Bed and Breakfast and consists of two sea-front suites. The suites have en-suite bathrooms and lounges with TV, courtesy fridge and tea and coffee facilities available.

The suites have a private entrance and an exclusive patio area. Breakfast is served on our patio (weather permitting) while watch a 180 degree view of the sea – and the whales playing in the bay

The Palm Cottage is a beautiful unit overlooking Victoria Bay. It is a spacious self-catering unit consisting of one main bedroom and a bunk bed which leads into the lounge. It is ideal for a small family (two adults and three small children) as the main bedroom has one double bed and a single bed. The bathroom has a bath and shower that is accessible from the passage and from the bedroom.

Sea Cottage is located near The Bramwell Jetty and is very central to the bay. It comprises five bedrooms and shared bathrooms at the ends of the two passages. A very large lounge, kitchen and dining room compliment this spacious home.

Land's End is the closest accommodation to the sea in Africa, set in the charming and quaint seaside hamlet of Victoria Bay, literally on the beachfront. In this stunning setting, Rod and Shanell offer a beautifully restored home, stylishly furnished with quality pieces.

Summer Place is a four-bedroom home with two double and two twin rooms, next to the sea and close to the jetty and tidal pool. The house is equipped with a large kitchen, a lounge and dining room and two large bathrooms at the end of the passage.

Vic bay Surf Lodge is a brand new backpackers in one of the hottest surf spots in the Garden Route. Situated right on the beach, you have a million dollar view of the bay. The lodge provides guests with a fully-equipped, self-catering kitchen, clean and comfortable rooms and a very chilled lounge and deck area, with a braai and pool table.

The cottages each have a private deck. Breakfast is optional as it can be booked as a self-catering basis. Breakfast is served on The Waves B&B patio (weather permitting), which has 180 degree view of the sea – and the whales playing in the bay in whale-season. Dolphins are the common sight along the coast.
