Salt Rock Beach

Our greatest treasure is undoubtedly our wonderful coastline and its diversity. Come explore magnificent beaches, shelters, coves and rock pools all teeming with life. There are numerous shark-protected beaches with lifesavers in attendance to ensure your safety. Activities, such as Scuba diving, deep-sea fishing, dolphin tours and surf excursions are easily arranged on request.

Seaside Lodge is situated in the subtropical Dolphin Coast, in the unspoilt seaside village of Salt Rock. We are within walking distance of the tidal pools and pristine beaches.

Our guesthouse is designed to offer you comfort, peace and harmony without the strict rules of hotel accomodation. Take a walk in the terraced grounds, holding a profusion of indigenous plants and flowers, take a cool dip in the soothing pool, or take a 200 m stroll to the nearest beach. We have a spacious communal TV lounge and a big screen sports pub.

The Beach House Lodge is positioned on the secluded Salt Rock Beach. It has four very spacious and luxurious en-suite bedrooms, of which some have a private TV lounge. All rooms have incredible sea views.

Canelands Beach Club is positioned directly on the secluded Salt Rock beach, just five minutes from Ballito on the magnificent North Coast, and is the only exclusive private residence in the area. The Beach Club residence offers 10 spacious en-suite bedrooms, all with incredible sea views.

McDonald Road is a lovely little granny flat situated in Salt Rock, which is comfortably furnished and fully equipped. The delightful little village of Salt Rock is tucked away on the KwaZulu-Natal northern coast.

Spectacular accommodation for families or couples, with uninterrupted sea views. There are spacious, flowing entertainment areas, a gourmet kitchen, five bedrooms, four bathrooms and a guest toilet, a solar heated pool and large covered patios. We are also within a short walk to the beach.
