A rustic luxury self catering house, with all the amenities of a modern guesthouse and with many of the original features of the farm being retained.  Gannakop guest house is situated on the 330ha Arbeidsgenot (work joy or work in joy) farm in the Eilandia Valley on the Breede River. Gannakop is named after the “Ganna” plant witch grows widely on the hillside.

At the foot of the majestic Langeberg Mountains, in a pristine and unspoilt kloof, lies Buitenstekloof Mountain Cottages, a jewel in nature's crown. If ever you needed a place to unwind, to recapture that unique and much needed sense of peace and harmony, you have come to the right place.

Our farm is situated on the banks of the Breede River, 15 km from the town of Robertson and 15 km off Route 62. We have a variety of accommodation which includes the Manor House, a B&B Room, Rondavel and our Summer Bush Camp.
