Gowrie Farm Golf and Fly-Fishing Estate is set in Nottingham Road, in the heart of the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands and within the context of a working farm.  The estate is surrounded by a choice of well-stocked trout dams, lush bush and kikuyu pastures.  This tranquil setting is a guaranteed antidote to city stress.  

Aladdin's Chameleon Cottages offer neat, affordable accommodation for the meanderer looking for a central spot. The cottages are located on the scenic Midlands Meander route in the village of Nottingham Road.

The Legendary Nottingham Road Hotel was built in the 1890's and is historically known as one of the oldest pub's in Kwa-Zulu Natal. This old style hotel has 14 en-suite rooms, both twins and doubles. Set in typically old English gardens, this hotel is located in the village of Nottingham Road which is in the heart of the Midlands Meander.

Set in the heart of the Midlands Meander, are seven superbly appointed self-catering fishing, serviced cottages. Catering to everyone’s desires from large family groups in charming two storey cottages on the banks of the dam to a quaint and secluded thatch roofed honeymoon cottage. The farm is a fisherman, hiker and a bird-watchers’ paradise, and is a pleasant 10 minute walk (2 minute drive) from the beautiful and famous Michaelhouse school.
