Truly a home away from home. We are centrally situated a stone's throw from trendy Florida Road, only five minutes' drive from the Durban CBD, beaches, ICC, sports stadiums and uShaka marine world.

Erlesmere Lodge consists of two buildings: Erlesmere, the main building, is an elegant Edwardian style double storey divided into two spacious maisonettes. The second building, The Palm Court, is a more modern double storey.

Bon Ami is a guest house with a difference, it offers the business traveller a home-away-from-home atmosphere. We are ideally situated in the upmarket suburb of Morningside Florida Road with its trendy and popular bars, bistros, shops and places of interest a short walk away.

Tekweni Backpackers Hostel was established in 1992 making it one of the first five hostels in South Africa. Tekweni is located in a large Colonial home built in 1896, in the heart of the vibrant suburb of Morningside.

Sommersby is a charming Edwardian house, lovingly converted into a bed and breakfast in 1995. Many of the original features remain; wooden floors, high ceilings and a fireplace, which helps to create a home from home atmosphere.

In the tradition of the original Quarters on Florida, which was restored to its Victorian splendour, Quarters on Avondale offers quiet luxury in an 'Edwardian' setting. The original Edwardian era home has been beautifully restored to its former glory to mirror the original architecture.

The style inspired Hotel 64 on Gordon is located just off Florida Road, Durban's gourmet district, with perfect access to all arterial routes and amenities. This hotel is totally unexpected and the exhilaration of the design runs throughout.

Four gracious Victorian homes have been beautifully restored by award winning architects to create a unique hotel of immense charm and character.
