The Fishmonger, a restaurant that specializes in the best available seafood, is located at the pulse of the historic town of Stellenbosch. At the corner of Plein and Van Ryneveld streets, this eatery offers a vibey, Mediterranean atmosphere with the best seats in the house being out of house – on the pavement.

Seafood lovers will find the menu a catch. With items such as oysters, linefish in a cream sauce with mushrooms and mozzarella, as well as seafood soup and variety of mixed platters to choose from (that include queen prawns and calamari) there can be no complaints. Those with a sweet tooth will also be happy to try the Crème Brulee on the dessert menu.

The restaurant also has a good selection of local wines to compliment the seafood cuisine.
