About Uembje Lagoon
The Lagoa Uembje (Uembje Lagoon), or Sao Martinho as it was known during colonial times, is an amazing boating and watersports venue. Occasionally open to the sea, the lagoon is separated from Praia do Bilene by a long strip of sand dunes.
Try your hand at kayaking, windsurfing, waterskiing, wakeboarding, parasailing and tubing or just have a blast. The lagoon is huge, with ample space to throttle up and really have fun. It's best to bring your own equipment, but some items can be hired at resorts. Boat transfers to the beach.
