It would appear that this person who posted their terribly biased racial comment is looking to play a very poor card with her heavily accentuated comments regarding her race, and therefore equating this to poor service. We as a family run restaurant are hurt and offended by these slanderous accusations. We are free thinking, liberal and absolutely non discriminatory. We regularly host people from all over the world and all are treated in exactly the same courteous fashion. That someone has such a low opinion of themselves, and by slating my daughter in this fashion, again discredits her claims. That my daughter did not attend to her table is that she was not on her allocation of service tables. We have received nothing but praise from all quarters regarding our service quality and the high standard of our food. I am of the opinion that this lady has passed these comments with ulterior mischievousness hidden motives.

Well well well! What a gem of a find nestled in Hillcrest. We were taking a leisurely Sunday drive around the area (we live in Chatsworth) when my family and I popped in more out of curiosity than ever hearing about this restaurant. What greeted us was friendly staff and an attentive manageress. I stress attentive, as my husband has a severe reaction to wheat based products, nuts and prefers a vegetarian diet. This little lady went out of her way to accomodate us, going as far as getting a meal (not on the menu whipped up from the kitchen) whilst the owner even offered us a Soya milk option on our cappacinos!!. The food is Mediterranean based but they have superb chicken burgers (ask my fussy son) and I enjoyed a divine seafood platter that was on special that weekend. Since our first trip all I have done is raved about this place though unfortunately they are not open at night. My girlfriends and I now do our weekly ladies lunch there twice a month, and we enjoy it with a glass (or two) of wine, relaxing to Latino sounds and munching on paninis and salads. It truly is a wonderful place with great staff, atmosphere and personalised service unlike most coffee shops and restaurants these days where the staff are ill informed about the menu and its contents.
