Croc bridge is the only gate we go in. We drive all the way from Centurion & enter the park through Crocodile bridge. Service is professional and helpful.

We made use of their cafeteria facilities. The breakfast is very good priced and the coffee taste great.
They need to implement a better process to assist the customers as I've waited about an hour in the queue to enter at the gate and more than half an hour in the queue to get coffee.

Crocodile Bridge gate is located in the south eastern corner of the Kruger National Park in close proximity to other tourist attractions, like Mozambique, Swaziland, Blyde river Canyon, numerous Golf courses and the opportunity to do Tiger fishing in the Komati river.
Crocodile Bridge Gate has been totally revamped and re-Furbished, clients now entering the park through this gate have now only to drive up to the gate and gain access from the comfort of their vehicle, the experienced and friendly staff compliant the recent upgrades.
Further to that the bridge has been elevated over the crocodile river and access can be made all year round.Crocodile Bridges location allows for a diverse habitat, open grass lands, mixed woodlands, thorn thickets and riven's.
The open Grass lands give you diversity of plains game in large herds being Impala, Zebras, Buffalo which are common prey animals for Cheetah, Lions and Leopard. With the concentration of all these prey animals predators have smaller territories.
The mixed woodlands and thorn thickets results in regular viewing of Giraffe, Kudu and Elephant in close quarters, black Rhino also roam these areas due to the vegetation.
With the river frontage and vegetation diversity the viewing of animals fauna and flora make for exciting game viewing opportunities!
The above explained vegetation makes for exciting bird viewing opportunities of the 400 or so species of birds found in the Kruger National Park.
Crocodile Bridge allows for easy traveling to Lower Sabi, Skukuza, Satara and Tshokwane, with amazing Panoramic views and frequent view points showing you the real scale of Kruger National Park.

The Crocodile bridge gate area is ideally situated for those adventurous travellers who want to discover Africa.
Easy access to the Kruger National Park, one of the finest game reserves on the planet. The Southern Kruger where over 380 species of bird have been identified has the highest concentration of wild game in the Park and an extremely diversified topography. Big 5 sightings are almost a daily occurrence.
A new and exciting activity in the area is tiger fishing. This is done in the Komati River which joins up with the Crocodile River and is teeming with these fantastic sports fish. Fishing is strictly catch-and-release and part of the excitement is looking out for crocodiles and hippos lurking in the water and elephant and buffalo on the bank beside you!
The area also has some great golf courses. Play golf in Kruger or on the banks of the Komati river in Komatipoort.
For those wanting to explore a little more it’s only 15 minutes to the Mozambique border... a simple crossing and you’re in vibrant Maputo the Mozambique capital which is a wonderful experience. Visit the capitol of Mozambique and enjoy a day in the city viewing the Portuguese architecture of the Colonial days - visit the Maputo station designed by Gustaf Eiffel (designer of the Eiffel Tower), the waterfront and harbor. Craft markets are abundant, the local Mozambicans use exotic hard woods for different types of carvings and curios, batiks and other fabrics are also available at the markets. Lunch is normally eaten at the Costa do Sol restaurant, a traditional Portuguese seafood restaurant overlooking the sea, which has become a landmark in Maputo. Enjoy wonderful seafood dishes and a vibey atmosphere all served up at amazingly low prices.
Swaziland is also just an hour away and this day trip offers a different experience but equally enjoyable. Visit traditional cultural villages, bushman paintings, art and craft centres, and view the beauty of one of Africa's last remaining Kingdoms.

We only made use of the Park Shop Breakfast and do recommend it. It is very affordable and we love to have breakfast there over the weekend.

In general it was okay. The night drives are over-regulated and of hardly any interest - not worth the money.

Friendly, efficient staff made coming into the park daily a pleasure! Loads to see, and the lions always seem to be lurking not too far down the main road.
