We particularly wanted to see the local birds and other wild life. We were given advice on what was available locally and one of the staff accompanied us on a trip out one day for a couple of hours to a place we might have been a bit unsure of on our own.
The food was delicious and varied each day. Nothing was too much trouble, including morning tea delivered to our room at first light - a real bonus for early birders,

My mother and I are from Kalk Bay and Fish Hoek area and have just been through a very stressful time. We wanted a cosy comfy stay for one night only, to have supper at a good restaurant and enjoy the fresh air, mountains and interesting shops!

Amazing place
We stopped over in Hazyview on the way down from Blyde river area. Phillip and Margi were fantastic hosts we were made to feel like new found friends rather than customers. Would definately stay there again. The rooms are very luxurious. Extremely good value for money. And what can one say about breakfast- yummmy! The best we had in South Africa.
