We arrived at Stonehill for a weekend break away from the city life. What a delightful surprise - Caroline welcomed us and showed us to our cottage. You feel like you are in heart of a Swiss Ski resort - the cottages are beautiful and the fireplace adds a romantic touch. We arrived very tired and stressed out to this beautiful lodge ! We simply had the best room and view (ALWAYS ask for the upstairs bedroom with the balcony)! It was stunning- it didn't feel like we were in Jo'burg at all. The sound of the water is definitely very calming and waking up to the smell of fresh coffee was so inviting! After suffering the loss of my mother my mind was all over the place. Kay and Tina made our stay absolutely perfect.
