Colonial House is truly beautiful, the photos on the website cannot do justice. The house is elegantly furnished, yet comfortable and homely. I appreciated the attention to detail; the interior and exterior (pool, patio boma, garden) is spotless and well maintained. The house is perfectly equipped for self-catering. Wonderful family atmosphere
We had a great time--used three of their rooms for a very reasonable price. The staff and other guests were friendly, and the rooms were more than decent. They had internet and many brochures and tourist info, as well as free coffee and tea. The only thing that might stop some people is that the neighbourhood is a little rough--think Brooklyn--but we had no problem. Ons het baie lekker gebly, de airconditioning was baie lekker, raas nie baie nie, die kos was ook baie lekker, sowel die aand ete en ontbyt. Alles was baie skoon in die huisie en in die tuin, ook die swembad ens. Ons sal in die toekoms weer gebruik maak van River Hill Lodge River Hill Lodge is ook baie lekker kort by die Kruger Wildtuin om een dagbesoek daar te doen — cornelis Walraven, South Africa
