Back in the 1900's
The trip towards Mkomazana Mountain Cottages was already noteworthy, we experienced sun, mist and rain. From Joburg it is quite a ride but all very worth it. We were welcomed at 19h00 with a bottle of rose and some fire wood. The next morning the sun was out and we went for a stroll to discover the setting. It is an absolute beautiful place, loved the dam with its natural pool (which we used on occasion) and the walk to salt and pepper a nice challenge. What a view!
Stayed at La Mer Penthouse and felt like royalty!! What a view from the balcony and rooms. I have been to Margate for many years and was so happy that we tried something new. Very clean and upmarket place - close to everything - very handy for the kids. I loved having a washing machine and all the space. Will definitely be back.
