Great Time
We had a wonderful weekend (3 nights). The room was very comfortable and the large bathroom with shower very clean. The under carpet heating was great on our first night when it was a little chilly. Breakfasts are great and Frank (our host) very attentive. We felt well rested on our departure. There is no doubt we will make use of Baleia again. What a gem!
We were welcomed by Felicity, who looks after the place and did the cooking. Later we met the owner, Hugo, who was very willing to share with us about what happens on the farm. As it was winter, there was not much happening, but he took us on a walk through the fields and explained the ins and outs of fruit and vine farming. Meals were great, and were a time for more discussions. As we were the only guests, the place was very quiet. A great place to stay! — John Gelling, South Africa
