Rose and Rooster is a lovely Lodge. Anyone reading this should have no hesitation in booking if you are looking to stay in the area because you will not be disappointed. We were there four nights and could easily have stayed longer as there is plenty to do around and about. Our hosts Judy and Stefan were wonderful. Judy cooked the breakfasts and booked a tour of Spion Cop for us and made sure we had sun hats a sun lotion with us. The Stay was fantastic!!
My wife and I were on honeymoon.It was the second leg of our honeymoon, after staying in le franschoek and moving on to the Seychelles. The service received from the hosts is to be highly commended. It was impeccable. They really made an effort to make our stay as pleasant as possible. They also made recommendations of what to do during the day and which restaurants we should consider.
